Drop your shield, too: When in combat, remember to give yourself some room to drop your shield.Especially when you approach corners and new areas, keep your shield up. Because “Demon’s Souls” is the first of its kind, the game relies on surprise attacks on your blind spots. Keep your shield up: I told you it’ll be rudimentary, but I can’t overstate how important blocking is in this game.
